Toilet Paper Roll Flowers

This is a project that I've been wanting to do for a while. Because it requires toilet paper rolls, it took me a while to stock up! :)

This is my stash of paper towel rolls. As you can see, I've done some of these before, but the color just wasn't right. Yes, you do see a creepy plastic eyeball staring at you, just ignore it...

I measure 1/4 inch all the way across all of the rolls and drew a line with pencils.

Then I cut out EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. How many even was that? you ask. It wouldn't be that hard, you say. Well, you are more than welcome to ask my aching hand, and you just may end up with something aching when you do...

THIS is how many it was.

Because of future plans that will be revealed in the, uh, future, I did my design to fit a ninety degree angle, so this was my guide.

I just started making flowery-looking designs and hot gluing them together.

I'd lay it out and change it a bit and then glue her down.

This is as far as I went with the picture taking, although in the future you will see more of this and the big project it ties into...

By the way, there are about four thousand, three hundred and sixty four point seven designs and patterns you could do with this. Toilet paper rolls--who knew, right?
