365 Project

This week will have 14 pictures because I forgot had very important things to do that couldn't be overlooked...
anyway, here they are! :)

*Day #1: CLOSE-UP
My family and I went to a green house to get some things for the bonsai tree that my brother got for Christmas. They had some of the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen! :)

*Day #2: PEOPLE

These three go together. My sister and brother and I walked to a pond in our area. It was frozen over and there was still snow from a few weeks before because the tall trees and hills blocked the sun. My sister is throwing ice onto the pond and my brother is wearing/eating his... :)

*Day #3: NIGHT
My sister is a silly one... she wanted to plank on top of our car...why not?

*Day #4: DRAMATIC LIGHT
I was just playing around with my camera. I went out to a semi-busy road one night and just used long exposure and waved my camera around to get funky light swirls. :)

*Day #5: REFLECTIONS
This one isn't very exciting. I just sat in front of our oven and took my picture.

*Day #6: COLOR
I was doing a little bit of beading and I had them on a piece of paper so I could slide the ones I didn't use back into their container. The light from a window was shining and I thought it looked cool.

*Day #7: AROUND THE HOUSE
This is a bed frame that is sitting in our family room (for reasons that will be revealed in due time) and the sun was setting and I though the light coming through looked pretty cool.

*Day #8: DRAMATIC LIGHT
I went out to a kind of bay near where I live while the weather was still nice
(January/Utah/Nice Weather???) and got some really nice pictures of the sunset on the water and stuff. This sunflower was one of the only ones left.

*Day #9: PEOPLE
My brother and dad went fishing a week after Christmas and this is what they brought back...haha! not much!

*Day #10: CLOSE UP
This is my kitty-cat "Sneaker". So named for his jumpy and sneaky personality.

*Day #11: NATURE
My neighbors have rose bushes galore and I went out and took a few pictures of them.

*Day #12: WATER
This was a river that runs into said pond. We went on a walk up there a couple days ago and I took some pictures.

*Day #13: OBJECTS OUTSIDE
It finally snowed!!! This was after one round of shoveling and before the last!

*Day #14: ARCHITECTURE
This is the doorknob of the Salt Lake Temple. The night we went to see the lights both my parents had to work so it was just us kids. So later, after all the old kids were long gone, we went with my parents and that's when I took this picture.

*These two weeks, the pictures were NOT  in the order that I took them. I was pretty scrambled so I just uploaded them without thinking about the order. I'll be better next week! :)

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #15: FOOD
This is some oil in a big pot. The flash kept glaring but the oil looked really cool. It kinda got a crackle look underneath the surface that looked really cool.

Day #16: SELF PORTRAIT
This was a bit of a hurried one as you can tell...not my best self portrait ever. I just really liked these two colors together so I thought I'd take a picture.

Day #17: FOOD
This is my daily meal. I have a green apple and cheese its almost every day for lunch. Just for the record, I'm addicted to cheese its which is why my mom separates the large bag into little portions and hides them so I can only have one a day. :(

Day #18: ARCHITECTURE
Hardly impressive architecture, but I just thought it was kind of funny that the seam where these two pieces meet is so off-center.

Day #19: ARCHITECTURE
I went to a cabin with some girls and these gorgeous lanterns were mounted by the doors inside. I love their charm and character.

Day #20: NIGHT
Although technically you wouldn't call this "night", it's close enough. It finally snowed again and I went out right before sunset to take some pictures.

Day #21: AROUND THE HOUSE
This is one of our cute little snowmen. My mom doesn't put out any snowmen until January. I like the idea because after you take Christmas decorations down, the house just feels empty. So this is one of the lucky guys that adorns the top of our piano!

Still going strong! :)

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #22: FOOD
I love oreos. I was enjoying them for desert one night, and--as it turns out--I am a fabulous accidental placer of cookies! :)

Day #23: DRAMATIC LIGHT
Whenever a car pulls up into the driveway to park, our cat runs out and jumps on the hood before you can even get the car off. He meows and meows at you for no reason. It's pretty funny. So my headlights were still on and he was sitting in there and I now keep my camera in my car so I snapped this picture of his silhouette.

 Day #24: WATER
It rained one night while I was driving home from volleyball. I had my camera in my car and snapped this shot through the windshield. The light behind is the "porch light" that is on one side of our garage.

 Day #25: LOOKING UP
I was sitting on the couch looking up and I thought it was kind of funny that one light was out and the others were fine. You know sometimes you don't notice or don't realize that a lightbulb has gone out and when you finally put in a new one, the room is WAY bright? I always loved when that happened for some reason...

Day #26: BLACK AND WHITE
This is a coaster that we have on our table downstairs. I didn't really like them when my mom first bought them except for the cool cursive in the background, but with use I think they have some cool character to them.

 Day #27: AROUND THE HOUSE
Okay, I stretched this a little. This isn't technically what you think of as a house, but it's the Club V "house". This is the bathroom and everyone who plays volleyball for Club V has signed this wall. I wish you could see it in person cuz' it's pretty dang awesome.

 Day #28: PEOPLE
These are my nephew's "toesies". I was taking a picture of him and he wanted to know what I was doing. I took this picture and showed it to him and then he kept asking me to take another picture and kept looking at it and would smile and ask me to take another one! :)

It's crazy that it's already been four weeks of a new year. Keep it comin! :)

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #29: LANDSCAPES
There has been hardly any snow except in the tops of the mountains. I went out and took this picture in the reflection of a big pond on one of our nicer days.

Day #30: SELF PORTRAIT

This is what I look like when I wake up in the morning. The only make-up I wear is mascara and I never wash it off. If I sleep with my hair wet, this is what it looks like when I wake-up.

Day #31: FOOD
This is my daily breakfast! Raisins and honeynut cheerios! :)

Day #32 (February!): DRAMATIC LIGHT
It got kind of cloudy one night and when I got out of my car to go to volleyball, this is what the moon looked like and I had to take a picture.

Day #33: VEHICLES
This is bad quality but I got stuck behind a train, and THIS is where it stopped. LITERALLY. I sat there for about five minutes while it was moving, and then it stopped RIGHT HERE and I had to wait another ten minutes before it finally moved.

Day #34: NATURE
This counts as nature, OKAY?!!? :) Like I've mentioned before, my cat likes to get on the car when you pull into the driveway. My window was rolled down ad he came to investigate.

Day #35: PEOPLE
I LOVE this picture! I think it's absolutely hilarious! This is my cute nephew gawking at the marble train that we had set up. Haha!

Day #36: CLOSE-UP (OUTSIDE)
This is counting as outside because it's in my car, okay? It's hanging by a lovely little bead rope from my rear view mirror.

Day #37: COLORS
In actuality, these colors are much brighter. I painted my nails for the first time in a while and I did them kinda funky. :)

Day #38: ARCHITECTURE
Architecture can be on a car, right? Our suburban has these orange lights on top of it and I always remember when we would be in a crowded parking lot, we'd just look for the one with the lights on top because nobody else's did.

Day #39: LOOKING UP
This is a light in our house. Basically, I just sat there one day and thought, "hm...those spiral looking things are kinda cool, i'll take a picture." (those were the exact word that went through my head, too.)

Day #40: AROUND THE HOUSE
This is the foot of our serger. I never really realized how nice it is to have a serger at your house. I always just kinda thought everyone had one until 8th grade sewing class and nobody had ever seen one before.

Day #41: AROUND THE HOUSE
My dad found these shells on a business trip he went on. (it was either in Louisiana or Florida...not sure which.) Although this was totally accidental, I think this basket with the canvas liner "goes" with an ocean-y theme really well! :)

Day #42: CLOSE-UP
These are simply three of the most fabulous movies that roam the earth. (Do movies roam?)  Anyway, I am simply in love with these movies and SO EXCITED for the "Hobbit" to come out!!!!!! Okay, excessive exclamation points, sorry.

Again, I'm sorry I didn't post these last week.

xoxo CPTVPT

I was in Las Vegas for a volleyball tournament last week which is why I didn't post. That will happen in March and in April as well (only I'll be in Spokane and then Reno!)

Day #43: REFLECTIONS
This was probably dangerous and not-at-all-safe, but I took this in the car while I was driving. I know, I know, but I hadn't gotten a picture for the day yet, and had to do something! :)

Day #44: COLORS
This is this cool squishy ball that we have that has all these rubbery tentacles poking out of it, I just like the texture.

Day #45: BLACK AND WHITE
The bushes outside without their leaves and the sun coming through the window make a cool pattern on the blinds. I've always thought that and now I finally took a picture of it!

Day #46: LOOKING UP
This is the not-so-clean shower head in my bathroom. Technically because I'm so tall, I wasn't really looking up at it, but practically everyone else would be, haha!

Day #46: ARCHITECTURE

Vegas! This was on Friday as we drove onto the strip for the first time. I took pictures of a lot of other things, but when you're hanging out the window of a car, it's hard to get pictures that aren't blurry...just sayin'.

Day #47: SELF PORTRAIT

I'll admit that this is a bit cheap. Of course, I couldn't take these pictures of myself, but my sister did, with my camera, so that's how its gonna be. :) This is me doing what I love. VOLLEYBALL! :)

Day #48:  OBJECTS OUTSIDE

This is the actual picture, the one below was also at the temple too though. On Sunday, my family went to church and then we drove up to the Las Vegas temple. I love when the temples have palm trees all around them. The temple was pretty unique, but--as always--beautiful.
I love these little squatty palm trees. They look just like pineapples! :)

Day #49: OBJECTS OUTSIDE
This is a picture from Vegas. It was just a part of a sidewalk that I thought looks cool.

Day #50: SELF PORTRAIT
Who said that self portraits have to be of the face? So, playing volleyball on Sunday, I was blocking and the ball bounced in an unfortunate angle off of my thumb. I played the rest of the day, but it swelled up really fast. This is NOT the swelling. I just taped it and played with it on Monday, even though it hurt pretty bad. The top picture was taken Tuesday morning, and the bottom one was taken Tuesday night. Not much swelling was left, but bruising WAS.

Day #51: LANDSCAPES
This is the view that I see from my front door. It's been pretty nice this week, but a little cloudy and the only snow is up in the top of the mountains.

Day #52: NATURE
This nature is inside. We had one of these before that my dad bought for my mom last year for Valentine's and it just recently died. So, for Valentine's this year, she got the same kind. She likes them better than bouquet's because the last longer. :)

Day #53: PEOPLE

This is my sister and my nephew. My brother, sis-in-law, and parents all went to dinner on Thursday night so my sister and I got to babysit. This is their youngest boy of two!

Day #54: VEHICLES
The sun was glinting off our lovely VW car so I took a picture of it. Luckily, this picture makes the car look like it's actually white...

Day #55: NIGHT
Another desperate attempt...took this while I was driving home from my volleyball tournament yesterday. I just looked up and saw the temple glowing on the mountain, I couldn't exactly zoom without taking a hand off of the wheel, or I would've gotten a closer shot.

Day #56: OBJECTS OUTSIDE
This is our drainage pipe from the rain gutter on the roof, into our flower bed. I'm not really sure why I took this picture, except that when I went outside to grab the newspaper, I saw it and thought it might make an interesting subject.

Well, well. I'm almost to March! I know I've missed a couple Sundays and had to double up, but I'm working on it! Have a good week.

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #57: FOOD
Veggie platter!! Believe it or not, I looooove raw cauliflower. It's one of my favorite foods and I eat it all the time.

Day #58: AROUND THE HOUSE
Technically, this baby is around me, but it's basically the same thing...but not. Anyway, this is my fake smartphone. It looks like it's a smartphone but I don't have internet, which is totally fine because I already waste enough time as it is. Not having a portable time-waster phone with internet is fine with me!

Day #59: BLACK AND WHITE
So...the picture isn't black and white but but sneaks' are! I love these babies, and I wear them ALL the time.

Day #60 (MARCH!): CLOSE UP
For my birthday, my sister sent a letter. She is on a mission in Nicaragua and I thought that all these stickers and stamps looked really cool on the envelope she sent me... :)

My birthday was on March 1st. My sister decorated my room with balloons and candy and a "Tangled Cup" (random) and a bunch of balloons and streamers and stuff. I have awesome sisters!

This was on my bed and on Friday, my mom, my sister and I went to lunch at Applebee's!
Rapunzel
Eugene's smolder...
This is a knob of my dresser...she put starbursts on all of them... :)

Day #61: FOOD
My young women leaders brought this lovely thing over to me on Friday for my birthday. I LOVE symphony bars...they are so delicious! I never actually knew that Hershey's makes symphony bars...did you?

Day #62: AROUND THE HOUSE
You can hardly tell this is on a door, but as you can see this is our "no solicitors" sign. A neighbor gave it to us, bless her! Alas, they still come. Two of my brothers sold security systems for a summer and they both said that they ignore these signs, but that could just be them...

Day #63: SELF PORTRAIT
This is my sister and I...people say we look like twins but I don't really see it...I'm on the right.

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #64: SELF PORTRAIT
This is my "after volleyball" hair. If you look closely, you'll notice that nice halo of frizz that surrounds my head. (I say "halo" because it sounds better than "mass")

Day #65: AROUND THE HOUSE
This is my hairspray that I've probably had for three years and used a grand total ten times. For some reason, I'm not a big hairspray girl...unless we're talkin' bout the movie...

Day #66: COLOR
The lava lamp that I coveted for years and finally my sister gave it to me when she went to college. Ah, the simple joys in life.

Day #67: CLOSE-UP
I got a skirt for my birthday that is really light blue (looks gray, I know) and has these lovely strips of black lace across it. I love lace.

Day #68: PEOPLE
My grandparents served a mission on the Indian reservations in Arizona. I'm not really sure how long I've had this, but I always thought she was so pretty...

...little did I know that she is also practical. yes, that is an air freshener that I discovered about a year ago always knew was there. *cough*

Day #69: FOOD
We have chickens and sometimes they lay--shall we say, interesting?--looking eggs. We've had this for a while because for some reason located in the subconscious, no one really wants to use it...

Day #70: FOOD
I made fondant! I've been wanting to for a while now and I finally did! I really wish that I had something to use it on now. I made cupcakes to decorate, but they are simply to good to use fondant icing on. (It's like eating dirt compared to cream cheese frosting.) It's really not ATROCIOUS tasting, just sugary, ya know? So I'm thinking maybe I'll use a fake-cake kinda deal just to practice with it.

Happy Third Week of March!

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #71: AROUND THE HOUSE
These are my "glues". There is spray glue, modge podge, wood clue, fabric clue, double stick foam tape, and E-6000. Obviously, I use a lot of glue...

Day # 72: PEOPLE
This is actually on of the covers of my dad's scripture case. My brother served an LDS mission in Argentina and brought these incredible leather scripture cases back for my parents. This is burnt in, and the other side is a picture of Joseph Smith. On my mom's, there is a picture of the Mesa, Arizona temple where they got married, and Christ.

Day #73: NATURE
This is our lawn. I know that in the winter, everyones lawn kinda dies, but this is elevated. My dad sprayed it with what he thought was liquid fertilizer, but was really weed killer. So, he killed our lawn, haha. Now with the nicer weather, people lawns are starting to perk up a bit...not ours. :)

Day #74: FOOD
Ah, kiwis. I LOVE when my mom buys kiwis! We've been having strawberries and kiwis almost every night for dinner, and they are so unbelievably delicious!

Day #75: CLOSE-UP
My. Fair. Lady. I love this movie! It's soooo good, and the ending is just so adorable! Audrey Hepburn is incredible and I love Rex Harrison as Higgins!

Day #76: COLOR
Last night while I watched "It Takes Two", I decided I wanted to color. So I printed a design off of the internet and colored away!

Day #77: BLACK AND WHITE
This is my i-pod that is not black. It's actually sitting on the cover of a project that I'm doing for English. This is considered pretty old-school for an i-pod but it does what I need it too. I also haven't put new songs on it for probably two years, but that's okay. I'm kind of a "steady" girl when it comes to music. I don't like a lot of the new "music" that is popular right now anyway...

Have a fabulous week!

xoxo CPTVPT

I know, I know. I'm a terrible blogger. These last four weeks have been so busy none of these pictures are in order at all!

Day #78: COLORS

It's a tradition in our house to paint Easter chocolates. We have a bunch of different colors that we paint the molds with, and then my mom makes coconut filling and peanut butter filling and we make chocolates.

Day #79: FOOD
These are seriously the most delicious apples to grow on the planet. They are so tart but really sweet and crunchy and big and juicy. Yum!

Day #80: NATURE
I thought this was fitting for spring. It's about all that IS growing in our yard (more about that later!)

Day: #81: VEHICLES
Oh, the old V-dub. It's a decent car, it's just not made for tall people. I can't even sit up straight in the seat because my head rubs...ridiculous.

Day #82: VEHICLES
This is the lovely rear bumper of a trailer my dad uses to haul soil and other stuff around. It reminds me of the Rust-eze cars on "Cars" with their rusty bumpers and Fred that is shedding rust. :)

Day #83: OBJECTS OUTSIDE
This is the road. If I had an even better lens, I could get even closer. I just think that it's so cool how different things look when you are so close-up.

Day #84: NATURE
These tulips are so cool! All their petals are yellow with streaks of red (or are they red with streaks of yellow?) and they just remind me of fire!

Day #85: REFLECTIONS
We keep this bucket under our rain drain and my dad uses the water for our fish tank that is the home to our goldfish, turtle, and various other little fishies.

Day #86: LOOKING UP
I've been so busy I was afraid I would miss getting a picture of the blossoms. I don't feel like this is the best picture ever, but it's decent. I LOVE blossoms sooooo much! The smell is so heavenly and they are just gorgeous.

Day #87: COLOR
I put this under color because it's basically all there is in the yard. Last fall, my dad (who is a master gardner) "fertilized" the lawn...with weedkiller. So basically, in this lovely spring weather, all our neighbors have lovely, luscious green grass, and we have...this.

Day #88: NATURE
Tree bark! Nothing shows texture more than a little tree bark.

Day #89: ARCHITECTURE
You may have heard about the wind storm in Davis County back in December. We really didn't have a whole lot of damage, but I was walking up to our porch one day and glanced over and saw these. I hadn't even noticed, but there are a few patches here and there that probably need to be prepared.

Day #90: LOOKING UP
I literally turned my camera upside-down, and stuck it under our porch light. It took me a couple tries to get it focused and some-what centered-ish. I thought it was funny that one of the screws was off...typical of our house..

Day #91: AROUND THE HOUSE
A beehive in my ward is really good at violin and has a recital that she needed an accompanist for. My mom is incredible at piano but it was kinda short notice, so she has been practicing basically 24/7 to get ready for it. (She says she's never playing another Bach piece in her life, haha)

Day #92: CLOSE-UP
One of our (very) few Easter decorations that sits atop our piano.

Day #93: FOOD
Because we have all been so busy, my sister and I dyed eggs on the Tuesday after Easter because I had a choir competition so I didn't go to volleyball, so I got home earlier, so that was when we had time. As you can see, we are BYU fans. Although I took this picture before the Quarter Finals, I'd like to think that this helped the BYU men's volleyball team beat Long Beach State! :)

Day #94: ARCHITECTURE
This is a chair at our house that is badly in need of a re-finish, but it has so many little details on it that I can't bring myself to actually sand it down.

Day #95: PEOPLE
One of my brothers (not this one) graduated from BYU on Friday. This is his son and as soon as we were out of the building he (my nephew) ran over to this little hill of grass and started rolling down it.

Day #96: AROUND THE HOUSE
These are some lace curtains that I bought from D.I. a little bit ago and finally did something with them! (hint, hint.)

Day #97: DRAMATIC LIGHT
I put this under dramatic light because of the dramatic contrast. I have this black velvet clutch purse with this gold embroidery on it and I've always thought it was cool.

Day #98: COLORS
This is my new favorite nail polish! (beside my minty blue) My toes are this color and I get compliments on them all the time. :)

Day #99: BLACK AND WHITE (AND BLUE)
Is it just me, or do you ALWAYS stick these little USB plugs in the wrong way? No matter what way I think it was last time, or turn it, I swear I'm wrong 90% of the time.

*****Day #100*****: COLORS
This is also a sneak-peek of a project that I am SOOOO excited for! :) I think this color is fabulous!

Day #101: ARCHITECTURE
Bless the person who invented 12X12 filing drawers! I would be lost without them! Having drawers allows you to keep a mess in them, and still tuck it away so no one can see...genius.

Day #102: REFLECTIONS
I'm taking a bit of--shall we say--artistic license calling this a reflection. Really it's a symbol of ME reflecting on why in the world this test means so much to colleges. I got a 28 and it was my first time taking it so I'm pretty pleased, but I just don't get why they would place so much emphasis on a test that tests how well you test, instead of developing a test to test what you know... anyway.

Day #103: NATURE
I'm always trying to get a good pic of this little guy when he's licking is paws like this and I never can get a good one. I just think he looks hilarious.

 Day #104: BLACK AND WHITE
This was amazing. I go to D.I. and I was looking for old dresses with potential. Then I wander to the frames area because I always look at the frames and as I turn the corner to the isle, I see a round frame. I pick it up and lo-and-behold, it is a volleyball. You can't find stuff like this in NORMAL stores, EVER. I was sooooo excited and it was only a dollar! :) hurray for thrifting! :)

wow...I'll be impressed if anyone actually read that whole thing. I'm sorry to report that I can't post next week because I'll be in Reno but then that should be the last time I really have and excuse not to post!

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #105: AROUND THE HOUSE

Day #106: SELF-PORTRAIT
This requires a little explanation...I was jumping on plyometric boxes to increase my vertical and sorta missed, and this is what came of it. I'll have an awesome scar though... :)

Day #107: COLOR

Day #108: COLOR
you can't see it as well as I would've liked because my shutter speed was slow...but these are the colored "ribbons" that are the screen saver...

Day #109: FOOD
These are the best. ever. I LOOOOOVE cookies'n'cream anything and these were absolutely delicious

Day #114: AROUND THE HOUSE
I have three of these batteries and literally they are always laying around the house.

Day #115: ARCHITECTURE
This awesome copper engraved picture is from Chile where my brother went on his mission. It's a depiction of Lehi's Dream

These are my two favorite colors at the moment. Oh! And coral!

Day #117: FOOD

Day #118: BLACK AND WHITE

Day #119: OBJECT OUTSIDE

I love this vintage baby quilt.

Day #143: SELF-PORTRAIT

Day #144: DRAMATIC (high)LIGHT

Day #145: NATURE

Day #146: REFLECTIONS

Wow...that was a lot to look through...sorry!

Now that it's summer though, I'll be more faithful...lots more time on my hands. But I'm still staying busy with volleyball and working a little bit.

Day #147: DRAMATIC LIGHT
These are my super cool awesome alpha wolf pajama pants. Yes, they are silky. Yes, they are zebra striped.

Day #148: NIGHT
Oh the lovely green light on a charger! Nothin' better. This was taken at night but thanks to my flash, it doesn't look like it and without the flash you couldn't see a thing...

Day #149: DRAMATIC LIGHT
I took this one on my phone while I was driving...safe? no. decent picture? yes.

**Day #150**:  COLOR
This is the blanket that the hospital gave me after my knee surgery. As I was waking up the nurse asked what my favorite color was and I vaguely remember groggily answering "...blue..."

Day #151: FOOD
I eat one every day. (I haven't been to the doctor in a long time.)

Day #152: LANDSCAPES
This was also taken in the car, but not while I was driving...also on my phone.

Day #153: WATER
I was cleaning the bathrooms and I thought that the way the cleaner dripped down the sides of the bowl was cool so I took a picture with my phone...I'm weird... haha.

I did it! I actually posted! Look for two posts on my new page: "From This to That"

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #154: OBJECTS OUTSIDE
This is the spray paint that I used to paint my desk. It took 3 1/2 cans (one of these was half-used, I probably could've used four whole ones).

Day #155: BLACK AND WHITE
This is the stencil that I used. Roughly. I'll show you the whole desk that I did sometime this week...

Day #156: NIGHT
I did this inside by hand while I watched America's Got Talent. The cutest 16 year old dancer girl that was INSANE flexible but she just smiled and laughed the whole time and she was really cute.  That was random, sorry.

Day #157: NATURE
Just experimenting with designs...toilet paper rolls!

Day #158: DRAMATIC LIGHT
I think this dinosaur has already has it's debut on here, but it was sitting in the morning light by the window, and I had to take a pic... :)

Day #159: CLOSE-UP
Funny, we have these magnets on the fridge and none of us have ever been to the Bahamas OR Hawaii. Haha!

Day #160: AROUND THE HOUSE
Washing machine handles, hot and cold...but both blue?

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #161: NIGHT

Day #162: FOOD

Day #163: SELF-PORTRAIT
Above is my long, luscious hair. Below is after I cut it.

Day #164:  AROUND THE HOUSE

Day #165: AROUND THE HOUSE
Ticonderoga: the best pencil (perfect eraser!) besides mechanical.

Day #166: CLOSE-UP
Hurray for the DownEast outlet!! :) I bought a pair of jeans that were originally $54.99, as you see in the picture they were marked to $39.99, then to $20.00, and what did I pay for them? $7.99. Yes, as in, less than ten buckos! Talk about a score. (Also long enough!)

Day #167: AROUND THE HOUSE

Day #168: NATURE

Day #169: LOOKING UP

Day #170: CLOSE-UP

Day #171: COLOR

Day #172: NATURE

Day #173: AROUND THE HOUSE
Now this is a day when you seriously don't know what category to put this in. Egg cartons? We have chickens and sell some eggs so people are always giving us egg cartons, haha.

Day #174: FOOD

Day #175: BLACK AND WHITE
A little light reading on gospel subjects...I would personally suggest LDS.org

Day #176: NATURE

Day #177: COLORS
pretty colors, and also my life-line for my mass they call hair!

Day #178: BLACK AND WHITE
This is a book of stories about ancestors from my mom's side. Some of the pictures in it crack me up.

Day #179: COLOR

Day #180: LOOKING UP
Fan blade. Today was a lazy day, okay?

Day #181: CLOSE-UP

Day #182: ARCHITECTURE
Such gorgeous detail on this lovely blue couch. Very fashion forward.

Day #183: AROUND THE HOUSE
My workstation, minus the sewing machine which is on a separate table.

Day #184: ARCHITECTURE
I like these cool oldie cupboard handles, but I don't think they match the wood too well.

Day #185: DRAMATIC LIGHT
This is my brothers bonsai tree that he got for Christmas. These things are pretty awesome.

Day #186: REFLECTIONS
This is me holding a mirror to a mirror. I know it's not very clear but I thought it looked cool.

Day #187: COLOR
My sister painted this for a project up at school, I think.

Day #188: NATURE

Day #189: REFLECTIONS
Playing with mirrors again, haha.

Day #190: NIGHT
What is summer without fireworks? These are a few pictures that I took of the local ones we went to.

Day #191: NIGHT
This was the first night at girls camp. We each got a little solar lantern and it made this pattern on the grass when it was shining at night.
This was the same night and we had little chinese lanterns.

Day #192: DRAMATIC LIGHT
We got up absurdly early at girls camp to watch the sunrise. It didn't rise until almost two hours after we got up. :)

Day #193: PEOPLE
This was that same evening as the sunrise during skits. Because of the time missed at Trek, I'm gonna use this as a make-up. I thought it was so funny. The girls are doing a rap that was really cute.

Day #194: PEOPLE
My friend's foot with henna on it. My friends do it every year in our tent at girls camp. I don't usually just because I'm too tired but I did take a couple pictures before going to bed.

Day #195: LOOKING UP
I told my dad a while ago that I had never actually seen a spiderweb that looked like this. Then we went camping and I saw a  bunch, then we went to girls camp and saw a bunch. This one was made on a rope that was keeping a tent flap out.

Day #196: OBJECTS (from) OUTSIDE
These were my legs after trek. My boogers were black every time I blew them. Bless showers.

Day #197: SELF PORTRAIT
This is the same day but also a make-up picture. This is what I looked like when I got back from trek. Yes, I smelled as bad as I looked.

Day #198: SELF PORTRAIT
This was obviously before I chopped my hair. I cut my hair a couple days after trek and this was the Sunday we got back.

Day #199: COLOR

Day #200: FOOD

Day #201: WATER
One Sunday while we were playing speed scrabble, it just started pouring outside. This is the water coming off the roof. I love rain and it was glorious!

Day #202: PEOPLE...
...are incredible. This lady made a doll for every girl/woman that went on trek. We got them when we came home and they are all lined and have little patches, the details are amazing, and they're so cute. And we don't even know who she is. She asked to be anonymous. Incredible.

Whew! Thanks for stickin' with me! :)

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #203: SELF-PORTRAIT
This was Sunday. Since I was holding the camera it looks like I have mega-shoulders, which I sort of do because of volleyball, but they don't normally look like this in proportion to my head...

 Day #204: COLORS
A new/old project. Started forever ago, just finished.

 Day #205: FOOD
You cannot have summer with no watermelon. Period.

Day #206: COLOR
This is the top of my mousse can. I always thought it looked cool when you squirt it out and then it foams into the little fan shape on top. :)

Day #207: FOOD
Weird macaroni and cheese noodles. Cheesy explosion kind?

Day #208: PEOPLE
This is my sister and my nephew. He was reaching out to the computer screen. I know it looks like it's posed because it looks like the screen was black, but it's just the angle.

Day #209: PEOPLE
My other nephew. We went to a river on Saturday and held the rope to the raft while he sat in it and thought that he was doing a great paddling job, haha.

Day #210: CLOSE-UP
Some of my necessities. :)

 Day #211: SELF-PORTRAIT
I ran a kids volleyball camp all week for my club and had to get there by 8 every morning. bleh.

Day #212: FOOD
I really felt like something delicious so I made cookies and ate a bunch of dough. Satisfied.

Day #213: AROUND THE HOUSE
My brother Chad brought these back for all of us from his mission in Argentina. I lost mine for a little while and just found it! Hurray!

Day #214: NIGHT
It rained! Finally. I ran outside and watched the lightning for a while. :)

Day #215: LOOKING UP
My room was heart attacked when I got into mia-maids in young womens which was over three years ago. They put some fishing line around my light and stuck two sticker hearts to it and it's still there! haha.

 Day #216: CLOSE-UP
Some fabric I bought yesterday. This is also a sneaky-peaky of things to come! :)

xoxo CPTVPT

Day #217: SELF-PORTRAIT
Haha. Right after I use the diffuser on my hair, it is so crazy for about five minutes before it settles down a little. This is just a little after, sorta crazy but not as bad as it is RIGHT after. :)

Day #218: PEOPLE
Sweet little nephew. Dinner time!

Day #219: FOOD
I love a good Oreo.

Day #220: BLACK AND WHITE
Detergent and fabric softener. It still amazes me that I have friends that don't know how to do their laundry. :)

Day #221: COLORS
Shoe box of my lovely Tom rip-offs that Soda makes. (Did that sentence make any sense at all?)

Day #222: AROUND THE HOUSE
It was my mommy's birthday. We always hang streamers from the fan when we decorate the kitchen for birthdays.

Day #223: BLACK AND WHITE
This is the dress that I made a while back. I entered it in our county fair and got second place I think. It's kinda lame because they give out, like, twenty first place ribbons in the same category, and then a bunch of second place ones, and no third place ones. Nobody can be a loser, everyone has to win so no one feels bad. I could go off about that, but I'll spare you a monologue. (Too late!)

Day #224: SELF-PORTRAIT
This is me. Well, my eyes anyway.

Day #225: CLOSE-UP
I'm sure you all wanted to see this. It's my scar from banging my knee on a plyometric box at the gym, haha. Finally closed up. (I hit it in May.)

Day #226: COLORS
This is one of my favorite skirts. It is just flowy and wonderful.

Day #227: DRAMATIC LIGHT
Our blinds. You know the wonderful long, plastic ones that are a pain and a half? Yeah, those.

Day #228: FOOD
My sister and I bought these at the store yesterday. We're suckers for sour spray candy. :)

Day #229: LOOKING UP
This was me laying down under the coffee table my brother made and looking up into the corner. It just amuses me, the meticulous job he did of staining it. haha.

Honestly it's on the bottom and no one's every gonna see it, so why waste the stain? That's my reasoning. :)

Day #230: AROUND THE HOUSE
This is the back of our lamp that's like the Pixar one, ya know? the little switch that you turn is so stiff, I swear you need pliers to move the darn thing.

Well, I'll be in Maryland this week for a college visit so we will see how that goes.

Thanks for reading!

xoxo CPTVPT

Because I am sooooooo (x 1 million) behind, I'm gonna post these in sevens instead of all in one, massive post. I'll try to be caught up within the week with my posting.

Here we go:

 Day #231: VEHICLES
Shoddy workmanship...someone tried to saran wrap my car. No comment...

Day #232: NATURE

 Day #233: AROUND THE HOUSE

 Day #234: CLOSE UP

 Day #235: FOOD

Day #236: CLOSE UP

 Day #237: NATURE

These are all from my trip to Baltimore, Maryland. I went there for a college visit for volleyball.

Day #238: OBJECTS OUTSIDE
Just pretty red doors on a church we saw downtown.

Day #239: ARCHITECTURE

Day #240: PEOPLE

Day #241: VEHICLES
This car was putting along the old streets and it was really funny...it stalled right here and was jerking and lerching while whoever was driving was trying to get it started... :)

Day #242: ARCHITECTURE
Don't you just love old, red brick?!

Day #243: WATER
It's a little washed out, but this was a dock out in the water and the buildings on the other side of the bay.

Day #244: LOOKING UP
You come around a bend on the free way and the DC temple is just looming (that has sort of a negative connotation but I couldn't think of a better word...) above the trees. It is huge. When you get closer it's even more majestic. Truly incredible.

Day #245: WATER
My sister's skipping rocks at Pineview Resevoir. We kinda skipped over a vacation this summer because of our busy schedules but we went up for a long weekend and went to the lake all the days but Sunday.

Day #246: CLOSE-UP
Looks like we went to the beach! :)

Day #247: PEOPLE
My lovely sister on our hike!

Day #248: NATURE
The leaves were already changing up there! :)

Day #249: NATURE
We went on a drive on Sunday and got out and walked around for a while. This lady had a gorgeous garden in her front yard.

Day #250: PEOPLE
My sister, once again, swimming on Monday before we went home. We all swam but she and I just liked to lay in the shallow part and see who could throw rocks the furthest, haha.

Day #251: NATURE
On our drive home, we passed this house with a meadow of flowers as their front yard....I leaned out the window to get a picture :)

Day #252: NIGHT
My brother, sister-in-law, and two nephews all moved to Washington D.C. at the end of the summer. We did sparklers with them their last night here :).

Day #253: CLOSE UP

Day #254: COLORS
Sneak peak..be prepared! ("Mufasa, mufasa, mufasa!")

Day #255: NATURE
I saw my kitty out there sleeping and tried to take a picture from the back porch without him catching me, but he woke up--halfway.

Day #256: NATURE
Beautimus leaves! I love fall.

Day #257: NATURE
The last of our flowers...

Day #258: SELF PORTRAIT
I actually did my hair one day, so I decided I needed official documentation. :)
